Cameron Park Real Estate Fly in to Cameron Park

Cameron Park is an affluent community in which some residents commute from home to work and back entirely by air. That’s right — some folks park their personal aircraft at home, drive them to the nearby airpark, and fly off to the office. How cool is that?!

But no, a plane is not a prerequisite for living in Cameron Park. You can get around perfectly fine in via car, bicycle, on foot, or however else you’d like. And when you’re getting around, there’s plenty in this neighborhood to get to, including the man-made Cameron Park Lake, with a trail encircling the lake, boat rentals, picnic areas, tennis courts, playgrounds, and even a sandy beach and swimming area that is separated from the main lake. The lake is stocked with fish and turtles and birds line the shore. Cameron Park Lake hosts the annual Summer Spectacular on the Fourth of July complete with a fireworks show as well as the annual barbecue competition, Ribstock.

There are eight other parks within Cameron Park and the town offers sports and recreation for both kids and adults. Safeway, Forklift, and Bel Air supermarkets service the neighborhood and several chain and local neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops dot the area. The Red Hawk Casino is just up the 50 for a fun day at the tables.

Overall, Cameron Park is centrally located to all El Dorado County has to offer.

Cameron Park has great neighboring towns too. The towns of El Dorado Hills and Granite Bay might also be a great lifestyle fit and may deserve a good look.
